Become a Personal Trainer with Jump Fitness
The Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training will provide you with the professionally recognised qualification you need to become a trusted Personal Trainer. At Jump Fitness we’re all about strategic planning to ensure your future clients reach their goals. You’ll be required to write an 8 phase resistance and cardiovascular training plan for a client of your choice. Customers want to see marked improvements and you won’t achieve these without a plan!
You’ll learn screening techniques to assess posture, mobility and stability exercises to prevent injury as well as unilateral, functional and strength training to improve performance. If this sounds good to you, get in touch!

Course Content & Assessment
The course consists of 4 units:
- Anatomy and Physiology for Health and Exercise
- Applying the Principles of Nutrition to an Activity Programme
- Programming Personal Training with Clients
- Delivering Personal Training Sessions
You’ll be assessed via multiple choice theory exams, worksheets, and observation of personal training session.

Following completion of our personal training courses what’s your next step? If you’re in the Cheltenham area we’ll endeavour to put you in touch with gyms, leisure centres and health clubs that we have contacts with. We’ve helped secure Jump graduates positions in some of the larger gyms such as Simply Gym and Fitness4less. Others have worked out of smaller, more exclusive Personal Training studios.
We have personal trainers operating in The Gym Cheltenham, ReSet, and Ramsey PT Studio. Students of ours are running bootcamps and providing home based personal training. Once you’re qualified the opportunities are endless! Please get in touch to discuss your options after the course.
A suitable Level 2 Fitness Instructing qualification e.g. Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing is needed before you can enrol on this course.
The course elements of physical activity and individual participation is essential; although you don’t need to be particularly fit be prepared to be active.
